- Config licenses on the new appliance.
- Connect the secondary to the same VLANs but don't configure them on the appliance.
- Configure primary node to Stayprimary. Also enable Failsafe.
- On primary, add the second node.
- Certs will probably be missing on new node. From System > HA, force HA sync
- Go to System > Diagnostics and sync ha files
- Go to back to System > HA and force sync again.
- Then on the second appliance, go to Traffic Mgmt > SSL > Certs and make sure the certificates are there.
- Edit both and change the HA Status to ENABLED (Actively Participate in HA)
- If the Node State is “Not UP” then edit “Down” Intefraces in System > Network >Interfaces, turn of “HA Monitoring” and “HA Heartbeat” in bothappliances.
- Check HA status is Green on the top of the page.
